Very close to the shopping street nan luo gu xiang and drum tower. Could view the drum tower through the window.
Very bad environment. The hotel feels like a love hotel more than a trip hotel. Always see couples there and could head their noise at night. The hotel is very dark, not enough light. The staff is not smart at all. They even forgot to give me back the Id card and I have to get it back again after I checked out. The shower water is not stable. The hotness of water could not hold more than ten minutes, and it needs at least 30minutes to prepare for the hot water.

The best thing about the Imperfect Inn it its situation in Beijing - we found the location pretty well placed, with the Gulou Dong Dajie littered with restaurants, some international coffee bars and clothes/other stalls of interest, if a little expensive down the popular Hutong of Gulou. As for the hotel, we liked the air conditioning, they changed our towels daily without fail, the bed was a good size if a little lumpy, as was the room a good size - though arguably lumpy also. The fish in the lobby were very friendly and swarm up to you when close by.
The receptionists were pretty cold and inconsistent in service. Tea and toiletries provided in the room were charged for at the end of our 3 week stay - including soap! The tea had no price advertised. In our three weeks there, our towels were changed every day, but they never once cleaned our room. A 'Western' breakfast is however included, though don't bother to get up for it, because they don't.What they should include in the price, is a clean room upon arrival, and regularly cleaned henceforward, soap, toilet paper, a consistent charge for internet use, and a smile on their faces that tells people they are there to help, not to dissuade people from visiting China. Bottom line, don't stay here, stay in a hostel.

The rooms are nicely decorated, light and pleasant. The street is lively, shops and restaurants in close proximity.
The breakfeast is mostly four different kinds of "european" white bread, and often the staff seems startled that you are expecting is. The breakfeast room is also the bar at night... The walls in the room, the halls and the lobby is worn. The nearest metro stop is a couple of busstops away, but the bus leaves pretty often.

there was nothing i liked about the hotel. I left after 2 miserable nights.
bathroom was not clean. A continental breakfast was promised on the website. What we got served was some toast bought in a hurry in the small supermarket next door. And some drink that was supposed to be coffee. etc. etc.
